No offense to the writer herein, but it is wildly anachronistic. Each psychological condition is being discussed with 21st century terms rather than 19th. I will not forcibly revise this (although my red pen is at the ready if I'm requested for assistance) but I would love to see it properly explained using 19th century terminology and diagnoses. Suggestions: Use either the phrase "touching phobia" as used by Freud in 1910 or "melancholia" in place of OCD. In fact, the entire diagnosis stems from what are now understood as anxiety disorders and psychosis, and the word "sociopath" replaced "psychopath" very recently, and "dementia praecox" was used before Schizophrenia became the appropriate term. (1911 this time)

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm still ironing over some of the details on this character and to establish some continuity with the storyline my friends and I are creating, so this article is still going to be edited quite a bit.

Obviously, I am drawing a lot of influence from WWII-era militaristic organizations, so of course there will be consistency errors when trying to fit this into a victorian-era setting. But I do agree that there should be some conversion to make this fit the steampunk setting.

Thanks for the suggestions, and I'm planning to work on refining this article in the next couple days. Hopefully I will be able to bring the concept to fit in with the whole continuity.

It is, of course, worth noting that the wiki does not necessarily need to be written in a manner representing the period in which the character exists. What is important on a wiki is accessibility and comprehensibility—therefore, the use of "sociopath" or "psychopath" as a descriptor is perfectly appropriate, since when reading it I would understand without problem what the described individual is like.
